Closing the eyes during prayer

The first question of Fatwa number ( 14283 )
Q 1: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded us to look at the place of prostration during prayer, but when the imam recites the Qur'an and I close my eyes, I feel humility and a constant connection in the dominion of Allah and His creation, from the seas
and the heavens, the earth, and other blessings, due to what comes in the verses of Allah that the imam recites. And when I open my eyes to look at the place of prostration as the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed us, waswas (whispers) come to me. What is the ruling of the religion in this?
A 1: It is prescribed for the Muslim to look at the place of prostration during his prayer and not to close his eyes, because he is conversing with his Lord; for it was narrated by Muslim and others that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Sahih Muslim 428 And it was narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim So if closing the eyes had been prescribed, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would have closed his eyes, and the lines of the khimisa (blanket) would not have distracted him. So you should look at the place of prostration, remember what you are reciting and supplicating, and resist the whispering Shaytan. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

لينتهين أقوام يرفعون أبصارهم إلى السماء في الصلاة أو لتخطفن أبصارهمThat the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed in a khimisa (blanket) that had designs on it, and he said: The designs of this have distracted me. Take it to Abu Jahm and bring me the Anbajaniyyah
