The second question of the fatwa number ( 16744 )
Q2: There is an imam of one of the mosques who, when straightening the rows, says: ( "Allah does not look upon the crooked row" ), is this a valid hadith?
A2 : This wording regarding straightening the rows: ( "Allah does not look upon the crooked row" ) is widespread on the tongues, and it has no basis from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so it is not prescribed to be said for straightening the rows. One should suffice with what is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in that, such as his saying (peace and blessings be upon him): , and the like thereof. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
