Q3: We have a hall where we perform some of the obligatory prayers, and it consists of four rows, with the imam in the middle of the first row , and the worshippers to the imam's left and right. Is it permissible for the imam to be in the middle of the ma'mum? Please inform us, may you be rewarded.
A3 : The Sunnah is for the imam to be in front of the ma'mum, and it is permissible for him to be in the middle of them if the space is narrow; due to the action of Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him). And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
