The imam's voice was cut off from those who were far from him

The third question of Fatwa No. ( 18855 )
Q3: Our mosque consists of a prayer hall and another attached hall
that is opened when necessary. During one of the prayers, which was the 'Isha' prayer in Ramadan, the electricity went out, so those in the second hall could not hear the imam's takbir. It is known that they do not see the ma'mum at all, because it is somewhat far from the first hall. So they appointed a person to complete the prayer with them. Then we heard a statement saying that it was obligatory for each person to complete the prayer individually. Therefore, we wanted to know what is the stronger position in this issue among the scholars?
A3 : If the voice of the one who calls to prayer is cut off from those who are far from the imam, they complete the prayer individually, each completing it for himself. And they may appoint one of them to complete the prayer with them. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
