Castration of livestock

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q2: As I mentioned earlier, we live in the desert, and we are livestock owners who castrate male goats and sheep for the purpose of fattening them and benefiting from their sale. Since the testicles removed from these animals while they are alive were previously eaten, I ask you to answer the questions contained in my letter! Do I bear any sin for what I have mentioned? And what do you advise me to do? May Allah preserve your eminence and benefit us through you and your knowledge.
A2: Castrating an animal is permissible if it is for a permissible benefit. However, what is cut from an edible animal while it is alive is forbidden, just as if it died without being ritually slaughtered. Therefore, it is not permissible to eat the testicles of an animal if they are cut from it while it is alive; rather, they are forbidden. This is based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
Whatever is cut from an animal while it is alive, then it is dead flesh.ما قطع من البهيمة وهي حيّة فهو ميت
