Praise be to Allah alone, and may prayers and peace be upon the one after whom there is no prophet. Having reviewed the matter, the Permanent Committee for Scholarly Research and Ifta has examined what was sent to His Eminence the Grand Mufti from the inquirer, the Director of the Communities Department at the branch of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, and Guidance, and referred to the Committee by the General Secretariat of the Council of Senior Scholars under number (4768) and date 7/5/1422 AH. The inquirer asked a question, the text of which is as follows: We are forwarding to Your Eminence a copy of the design prepared in both Arabic and English for the Tree of the Prophets, which was designed by the Communities Guidance Office at the Riyadh Air Base, hoping that Your Eminence would graciously provide the Islamic ruling on publishing such a work.
After studying the inquiry, the Committee responded that the Permanent Committee for Scholarly Research and Ifta has examined the design prepared in both Arabic and English for the Tree of the Prophets, which was designed by the Communities Guidance Office at the
Riyadh Air Base , and it has determined that this work is inappropriate; because it is not based on established evidence from the Book and the Sunnah, and due to the fear of the doctrinal dangers that may result from it among the ignorant, it is not permissible to issue or publish it.
