Calling to a religion other than Islam

The fourth and fifth questions of Fatwa No. ( 21166 )
Q 4: If it is the right of the Muslim to call people to Islam, why is it not the right of the non-Muslim to call people to their religion?
A 4 : Calling people to Islam and the worship of Allah alone, having no partner, is the duty of the Messengers and the Muslims who followed them. The Muslims after the sending of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) are those who carry out this task; because they are the ones upon the truth revealed from Allah the Exalted. They engage in calling to this truth; in obedience to Allah the Exalted, following the example of their Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and the prophets before him (peace and blessings be upon them), out of mercy for creation, and compassion for them from the punishment of Allah, and establishing the proof against people which Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, loves. As for the non-Muslims, in their various religions and sects, it is not permissible for them to call people to the falsehood and the distorted, false religions they are upon; because one who is upon the truth has no
need for falsehood. Likewise, it is not permissible for the people of Islam to permit the people of false religions and sects to call to the falsehood they are upon; because calling to disbelief is the invalidation of Islam, a strike against it, a denial of the Qur'an and the prophethood of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and the validation of the worship of other than Allah, such as crosses, idols, fires, and other things worshipped besides Allah. Exalted is Allah above that by a great elevation. How can the call to the worship of Allah alone, and the call to the worship of other than Him, and the call to belief in Him and His Messenger, and the call to denying Him and denying His Messenger, and the call to hating the disbelievers and their customs, and the call to loving them and supporting them, all coexist? This is not permissible in any way.
