Patience in Times of Distress and Hardship
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 10447 )
Q1: I often find myself in a state of distress, and I vent it by hitting and shouting at my young children. Will Allah hold me accountable for that?
Q1: You should train yourself to be patient during times of distress and hardship, and to turn to prayer, the remembrance of Allah, and supplication to Him (Exalted and Majestic is He) at such times. You should not hit your children without a need to discipline them. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
