Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 16685 )
Q 2: An animal (the Orob) is used (its dung) in the treatment of many diseases, and it is sold at the apothecaries, and it is called (San). Is it permissible to use it for treatment?
A 2: The animal known as the Orob is lawful, and it is permissible to hunt it
and eat it. And whatever is lawful to eat, its dung and urine are pure. Therefore, using what is known as (San al-Orob) for treatment has no religious objection. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
