A woman who conditions her divorce on a condition and the divorce does not take place

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The seventeenth question from fatwa number ( 8844 )
Q 17: A man argued with his wife about taking her to her village to visit a female relative she had married into. He had work that did not allow him to go at that time. After they reached an understanding, she said to him: If you allow us the opportunity, you will take me there. They agreed, so she asked him to divorce her on the condition that he would take her, unless an obstacle arose to prevent him. After a while, she was lenient and waived her right to go. What is obligatory for the husband, and is there anything required of the woman regarding what she asked for?
A 17: She owes nothing in this matter; because he did not divorce her, and she has no right to demand divorce in such a case. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
