Reserving gold by telephone

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q3: What is the ruling on reserving gold by telephone, where we call the agent and ask him about the value of the gold, and he says such-and-such, so we tell him: reserve such-and-such for us, and then we go to him with the amount, and we hand him the amount and take possession of the gold hand to hand, and we may delay the delivery and taking possession for several days?
A3: The sale is not completed except by the delivery of the consideration and the mutual exchange in
the presence, as for the reservation, it is not relied upon, and it is not considered a sale, and the gold does not enter the ownership of the one who reserved it, and he has no right to dispose of it or demand it; because the reservation does not complete an exchange or a sale, but it is only a promise.
