Q9: Is it recommended to wipe the face after the taslim?
A9: It is not recommended, and we do not know of any report from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), whether in words or deeds. Nor is it known from his Companions (may Allah be pleased with them), as far as we know. All good lies in following, and evil lies in innovation.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions.
