Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of Fatwa No. ( 4683 ):
Q3: What are the Seven Oft-Repeated Verses in the Noble Qur'an?
A3: The meaning of the Seven Oft-Repeated Verses in the saying of Allah the Exalted:
And We have certainly given you, [O Muhammad], seven of the often repeated [verses] and the great Qur'an.
[Al-Hijr 15:87]
is Surat al-Fatihah; for what al-Bukhari narrated from Abu Sa'id ibn al-Ma'la , who said:
I was praying, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called me, but I did not respond to him. I said: "O Messenger of Allah, I was praying." He said: "Did not Allah say: 'Respond to Allah and the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life'? Then he said: 'Shall I not teach you the greatest surah in the Qur'an before you leave the mosque?' So he took my hand. When we were about to go out, I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, you said: "I will surely teach you the greatest surah in the Qur'an."' He said: 'Al-Hamdu lillahi Rabb al-'Alamin (All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds) is the Seven Oft-Repeated Verses and the great Qur'an that was given to you.'"
. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
