The student: Such as his birth and his progression in seeking knowledge, and so on. This is what prompted me to mention it to our Shaykh. At first, he refused, claiming that our brother al-Shaybani, who is from Kuwait, had already written a biography of him in a large book, which I was told is close to five hundred pages. I said to him in jest: "Descending is an ill omen, and I want to ascend, for I dislike narrating about you through an intermediary." He agreed. I bear witness by Allah the Exalted that no one has ever been described to me in a way that I found the description to be greater than the person, except our Shaykh al-Albani, for I found him to be greater than the description. He treated me very well and brought me close to him, until he said to me: "You have been granted what was not granted to others". This is recorded on the eighth tape of the issues. And naturally, these tapes do not encompass the Shaykh's life; rather, they are only glimpses of his life—may Allah preserve him and delight the Muslims with his long life.
Said by the tongue of Abu Ishaq al-Huwaini the Egyptian—may Allah treat him with His kindness and favor.
We can ask some questions, we made this session for that!
Another student: Peace be upon you.

The Shaykh : And peace be upon you. Are you going to school?
The student: If Allah wills.

The Shaykh : May Allah make it beneficial for you and not harm you.
The student: Amen, hehe.

The Shaykh : Are you finished?
The student: Can we take advantage of this time when we are alone with each other, away from the other brothers, for this biography, for example?
Another student: Mr., he wants to have a private conversation with you.

The Shaykh : In any case, as I told you: while you are preparing the iftar for us.
The student: Yes.

The Shaykh : Please, go ahead.
