If I intend to travel and pray the midday prayer at my place of residence, is it permissible for me to bring forward the afternoon prayer and combine it with the midday prayer if I fear that I will miss the afternoon prayer, especially?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : He says: If I intend to travel and pray the midday prayer at my place of residence, is it permissible for me to bring forward the afternoon prayer and combine it with the midday prayer if I fear that I will miss the afternoon prayer, especially since the car is not mine and it may not stop on the road until after sunset? Or is it permissible for me to pray while sitting in the car while it is moving along its route? Please inform us, may Allah reward you with good?

The Shaykh : There is nothing wrong with combining in this situation, because combining is a dispensation. Whenever a person needs it, he combines.

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : For this reason, it is established in the authentic hadith of Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father)
That the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) combined in Madinah without fear or rain. أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم جمع في المدينة من غير خوف ولا مطر
He was asked what he intended by that, and he said: "He intended not to burden his Ummah" meaning not to impose hardship on them if they pray every prayer in its time. So if you know that this car is not under your control and that it may not stop if it departs after the midday prayer until after sunset, then it is permissible for you to combine the midday prayer with the afternoon prayer while you are in your home. However, in this situation, you pray it as four units, not as two units, because you have not yet started your journey.

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : This message is from ... Muhammad al-Shahri from al-Qasim. He says in his message: Peace be upon you and Allah's mercy and blessings. To the honorable scholars, I hope for an answer to my question.
