In our time, the core is moving from east to west, and the crust is moving from west to east, so the sun rises from the east,Then he says: and there is a slowing down of the core relative to the crust until it reaches a period of stability. Then, a reversal of direction occurs between the crust and the core, so the crust moves from east to west and the core the opposite way. Then, a slowing down occurs. This slowing down happens today in the acceleration; it may be ten hours, and the slowing down may be fifty hours,Meaning: the slowing down of the crust relative to the core is fifty hours today, because the issue of friction between the crust and the core lengthens the day of the earth's rotation. Then he cites as evidence and speaks of the story of Dhul-Qarnayn, saying: That was a period of stability between the crust and the core, so Dhul-Qarnayn reached the setting of the sun and reached the rising of the sun. Thus, half of the earth was in complete light [al-Kahf:90] and the other: they were in darkness, they did not understand a word, so they had no sunlight,Then he said: we put this before our scholars, and it is only open to acceptance and rejection, so what is your opinion?
By Allah, I see that it is acceptable and should not be turned away from by not delving into it, because we have no knowledge of this. As for what I know, there is a crust and a core that move in opposite directions, then one of them slows down and they align, then the matter is reversed so that night becomes day and day becomes night. We have no knowledge of this. All of this is from speculative claims in which one can never reach knowledge.

As for this, it is wrong, because Dhul-Qarnayn had been given by Allah the Exalted sovereignty and power, and for this he said: [al-Kahf:89-90] So there is a limit to the duration, and (he followed a course) also means that the course is everything that leads to the intended goal. And the fact that it comes in the indefinite form indicates that it is a great course, and the meaning is not that he reached this and that in an instant and an instant,And as for His saying: [al-Kahf:90] The meaning is: that they were primitive, they had no dwellings, no shelters, and nothing like animals.
