Identifying the Innovator Before Establishing the Argument Against Him

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
May Allah reward you, O Shaykh! A man has fallen into various religious innovations in his books and statements. Is it a condition for labeling this man, or any other person, as an innovator that the argument be established against him?
By Allah—may Allah bless you—if this man is present and people are taking from him, and he is a caller to the religion, then it is necessary to mention his name. Otherwise, there is no need for that. Rather, mention the statement in which he went astray and clarify that it is misguidance. And as I said a moment ago: Generalization is better than specific identification. However, if he is present—as you mentioned—and you see people frequenting him and taking from his innovations,So here we may say: then identifying him is necessary.
