The ruling on taking a day off on the Prophet's birthday and the ruling on collecting a debt less than or more than the amount owed
Your Eminence, some Islamic countries take a day off on the Prophet's birthday,But the question is: The salaries of some employees are deposited with the Saudi Bank, and I think that the bank's method is that if the amount is less than fifty halalas, they leave it with them, and if it is more than fifty, they round it up to a riyal. What is the ruling on that? And what is the ruling on leaving these halalas with the bank, such as the Saudi Bank? Is it cooperation in sin and transgression?
But your question is mixed.

The questioner: No, this is just information.

The Shaykh: Information; but it is an error,Meaning: Establishing a holiday for the occasion of the Mawlid is a great error; because that means establishing this religious innovation among the people, young and old, until they believe it to be a festival with a holiday, just as a holiday is observed for 'Id al-Adha and 'Id al-Fitr.
As for what you mentioned about your salary being deposited with a bank or other bank, if a fraction remains that exceeds half and they give you the full amount, or if a fraction remains that is less than half and you allow it, there is nothing wrong with that; because it is a matter of collecting the debt, and there is nothing wrong with a person collecting less than his right or being paid more than what is owed to him.
