The Ruling on a Woman Dancing Among Women

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
What is the ruling on a woman dancing among women?

We used not to be strict about it and would say: These are games at a wedding occasion, and there is nothing wrong with them. However, we have heard that fitnah (trial, discord or temptation) occurs in them, and that some women or some young girls, especially if one is beautiful, stir up the other women.Until it was said to me: Sometimes a woman among the attendees embraces the woman who is dancing, and this leads to the arousal of desire. Therefore, I see that dancing should be prohibited.

As for young girls dancing among the girls, it can be said: that there is nothing wrong with it; because a dispensation is granted to children in such matters that is not granted to adults.
