The Ruling on Demonstrations in the Shari'ah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
As for when a ruler rules by other than what Allah has revealed, and then he permits some people to hold a demonstration called "resistance" with regulations set by the ruler himself, and these people proceed with this action,And if they are told to disapprove of this action, they say: We do not oppose the ruler and we act according to the ruler's opinion. Is this permissible in the Shari'ah given the contradiction of the text?
You should follow the Salaf. If this existed with the Salaf, it is good; if it did not exist with them, it is evil. There is no doubt that demonstrations are evil; because they lead to chaos among the demonstrators and others, and aggression may occur; either against honor, or against wealth, or against bodies; because people in the midst of this chaos may be like a drunkard who does not know what he says or what he does. So all demonstrations are evil, whether the ruler permits them or not.
And the permission of some rulers for them is nothing but propaganda. Otherwise, if he returned to what is in his heart, he would hate them intensely. But he pretends that it is as he says: He claims to be a democrat and that he has opened the door of freedom for people, and this is not the way of the Salaf.
