The ruling on one who cites a verse from the verses and says: Allah, Mighty and Majestic, said, narrating the words of Pharaoh or another

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner: One who cites a verse from the verses and says: Allah, Mighty and Majestic, said, narrating the words of so-and-so, Pharaoh, or Moses, or such-and-such. What is the ruling on the word "narrating"?The Shaykh: There is nothing wrong with that,And there is no prohibition in it, because we do not say: The Qur'an is a narration of the speech of Allah; this is what is forbidden. As for narrating the speech of others, there is no harm in it. And the scholars, may Allah have mercy on them, have continued to say this in the books of tafsir: Allah the Exalted said, narrating such-and-such.
