The obligation of scholars toward regions that celebrate the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) birthday

There are people in regions where celebrations of the Mawlid are known to take place, and these exist among them. So, if there were a focus on lectures in these regions?
Praise be to Allah! As for the Kingdom, I am not aware that this is held openly. It is possible that some ignorant people hold it in their homes. Nevertheless, scholars should clarify in the countries where this is prevalent, even if it is done secretly, that this is a religious innovation (bid'ah) and that it does not bring one any closer to Allah, but rather increases one's distance from Him.
