A man took some doors from the old mosque before it was demolished, so what should he do now?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : He says: “May the Shaykh be respected, I am presenting this question to you, and I am in a state of confusion and embarrassment before you and before Allah (Mighty and Majestic) above all else. This is because I took some small doors, or windows, from your mosque long ago when it was demolished. What is the ruling on me in this matter, and what is your opinion now? I ask for your advice. May Allah guide you.”

The Shaykh : The solution to this is easy, and praise be to Allah. You can estimate the value of these doors you took. If they are not currently in existence, you estimate their value and give it to us. We will spend it on the interests of the mosque, and thereby your conscience will be cleared. Along with this, repentance to Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is necessary. One must repent to Allah (Mighty and Majestic). And I add to this that perhaps we will also find large doors that belonged to the library.
The students: Heh heh

The questioner : If they are currently in existence

The Shaykh : Yes

The questioner : If they are currently in existence

The Shaykh : It is, he is present, it is.

The questioner : No, if he says the doors are in existence.

The Shaykh : If they are in existence, he gives them to us and we sell them. Otherwise, he estimates their value at what they are worth today, because in my opinion, these old doors are worth a lot now. The matter is easy, and praise be to Allah. But I would like him to be mindful of the last point, because the doors taken from the library were three cabinets, some consisting of four doors, and there are two of those and one of two doors, and a very large door like a stone in its strength. So we ask Allah to make us and him understand. Yes.
