The questioner : So, you should refrain from commenting on what is currently happening in Algeria.

The Shaykh: Yes.

The questioner : And you should advise our brothers there to seek knowledge, avoid partisanship, and not clash with them. But if the state is harsh with them, is it permissible for them, for example, to shave their beards and change their shirts?

The Shaykh : No, it is not permissible. Changing the shirt is an easy matter, because this is not like shaving the beard, which is prohibited in the hadiths, as it involves altering Allah's creation.

The Shaykh : How do you mean he is unable?

The questioner : For example, an ordinary person who loves the religion but is busy with his profession and earning his livelihood.

The questioner : Yes, it is obligatory for him. Yes. And regarding the sisters, we have heard that some of them, as mentioned earlier, took the call to exit and other such things. What do you advise now? For example, should they participate in elections in the future, or yes?

The Shaykh : The answer to this is:

The questioner : It is found in the questions.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : Yes, praise be to Allah.
