Is it permissible to eat from slaughters that are said to be slaughtered in the Islamic manner?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : If you please, regarding the issue of canned goods, they say it is slaughtered in the Islamic manner, but does the state that permits the eating of riba (usury or interest) really care much whether these canned goods were slaughtered in the Islamic manner or not? And from what angle can we eat while being reassured?

The Shaykh : Excuse me, glory be to Allah, the Muslims remain in confusion about their religion and ask about an issue that should have become a thing of the past, but it renews itself every day. My answer is: who is it that says it was slaughtered in the Islamic manner?

The questioner : They send a representative...

The Shaykh : Tell me, is the one who says it was slaughtered in the Islamic manner a Muslim or a disbeliever?

The questioner : A Muslim, of course.

The Shaykh : A Muslim, or...

The questioner : And he permits riba (usury or interest) as well.

The Shaykh : One by one, is this Muslim known to Muslims today as a scholar and a person of trust?

The questioner : No.

The Shaykh : Ah, from here you know the answer.

The questioner : And the solution and the alternative... or canned goods.

The Shaykh : The alternative, praise be to Allah, is local chicken meat, which is abundant and available. If we lost the alternative, we would not have lost life. The early Muslims, who are our model in knowledge but not in action, used to go out for jihad in the cause of Allah, and their food was dates. It could reach the point where they ate one date a day and might face death from hunger. We, on the other hand, almost die from excess. So if we lose a blessing because a prohibition has occurred to it by the Shari'ah, we ask: what is the alternative? Allah is the Greatest.
created for you all of that which is on the earth خلق لكم ما في الأرض جميعا
[Al-Baqarah 2:29]
All these good things that we eat and enjoy have no value except that we eat from meat about which the least that can be said is that we do not know it was slaughtered in the Sharia-compliant manner.
Glory be to Allah, the Muslims today are in need of something other than knowledge, which is taqwa (mindfulness of Allah) and fear of Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He). We are almost losing this among the general Muslims, and many of their elites have reached the point of issuing fatwas (scholarly legal rulings) that permit what Allah has forbidden, explicitly declaring riba (usury or interest) permissible, which was known to be forbidden by the Book, the Sunnah, and the consensus of the Ummah (the Muslim community) in the past centuries. But now, through twisting and turning and imitating the Jews who used to permit what Allah had forbidden through the slightest of tricks, many of the elites mislead the general public with fatwas that are not based on the Book and the Sunnah, but on personal desires and material interests. And Allah is the Helper.
