Al-Halabi’s reading before Shaykh Al-Albani of the conclusion of his response to al-Suqaf.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Abu Layla: YesThe Shaykh : What do you want to read?
Al-Halabi: Our Shaykh, I am saying here that this is the letter written against this cunning al-Suqaf. I said in the conclusion, and I want to know your opinion of what I wrote. I say: And after this, this is only a tenth of what this stumbler has cited. What if we were to follow up on all his distortions and expose all his deceptions? The occasion would be prolonged and our speech would be multiplied. What I have mentioned is a drop from the ocean of his ignorance and a point from his sea, which is sufficient, if Allah wills, to cut the throat of the arguer. And it reveals, by the grace of Allah, what came before and after it of misguidance and deception. The dung heap indicates the camel, so perhaps this book will lift the veil from the ignorance of the pretenders to knowledge and open the door to the minds of those who are deceived by it, and cool the hearts of those with intellect and understanding. Woe to you, O ignorant innovators! You have wasted our time by following up on your disgrace and deceptions. Has it not become time for you to repent and return? Enough of deceiving with the glitter of words! Enough of deceiving with the beauty of names! Enough of obscuring with the adornment of titles! For your affair in all of this is exposed to us as if it were a page of a book with no veil before it. Titles of kingship in the wrong place, like a cat imitating the swelling and the charge of a lion. So be fair, avoiding the seeking of excuses, and shunning every ignorant, lowly person. Only by this and this will your hearts open to the truth, and you will know the reality of knowledge and learn the purity of truth. Be truthful with yourselves, and you will see the realities of your leaders without decorations or images, and your leaders without decorations, without retouching. Until when will the heedlessness last? Until when will the deception last? Until when will the fanaticism and blind following last? And Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, alone is the Guide to the sound, spacious, and righteous path. Here the pen rested from running, and guided [the one] who followed the falsehood of the babblers, and stopped from refuting the lies of the people of falsehood and slander. And may Allah send prayers and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad. To the end of it.

The Shaykh: May Allah give you health.
Al-Halabi: May Allah bless you.
