The deeds recorded for the fetus after the soul is breathed into it.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Yes, it is also recorded for him. The fetus's deeds are recorded, meaning which deeds, the good or the bad? Both the good and the bad, because the word
deedsعمل
is a singular noun with a possessive suffix, and a singular noun with a possessive suffix indicates generality. The evidence for this is the saying of Allah the Exalted:
And if you should count the favors of Allah, you could not enumerate them وَإِن تَعُدُّواْ نِعْمَةَ اللّهِ لاَ تُحْصُوهَا
[An-Nahl 16:18]
. So "the blessing of Allah" is singular, and when He said:
you cannot enumerate them لا تحصوها
, it became known that this singular noun includes the plural. Therefore, every singular noun with a possessive suffix indicates generality.
So, a person's deeds, both good and evil, are recorded while he is in his mother's womb. Was it recorded before that? Yes, it was recorded before that. It was recorded before the creation of the heavens and the earth by fifty thousand years. For this reason, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about what we do in this world, of deeds of this world and the Hereafter: is it something newly started, or something that has already been completed? So he informed (peace and blessings be upon him)
that it has already been completed أنه قد فرغ منه
, and he said (may the prayer and peace of Allah be upon him):
There is none of you but has his place written for him in Paradise or in the Hell- Fire. ما منكم من أحد إلا وقد كتب مقعده من الجنة ومقعده من النار
Sahih al-Bukhari 4945
.
They said: O Messenger of Allah, should we then leave off our deeds and rely on the First Book? He said:
No. Work, for everyone is facilitated for what he was created.لا، اعملوا فكل ميسر لما خلق له
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2136
.
So your deeds are recorded.
