Continuation of the previous discussion regarding the celebration of the Prophet's birthday.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The religion is revelation from the sky, which we received through the way of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him); we do not add a single letter to it, nor do we subtract from it. I mentioned the previous verse
This day I have perfected for you your religion اليوم أكملت لكم دينكم
[Al-Ma'idah 5:3]
and I gave you the example of prayer because that is clearer. However, the Muslim in all his life, whether he is in prayer, in his house, in the shop, in the factory, or otherwise, he lives within the circle of Islam. So it is not permissible for him to step out of that by even a hair's breadth, by even a hair's width, because Islam encompasses the entire world with its rulings, whether in prayer or outside of prayer, whether you are sleeping or awake, whether you are sitting with your wife, or with your shaykh, or with your son; each has established and clear rulings. But who knows that? The people of knowledge. And as the Exalted said:
Are those who know equal to those who do not know? هل يستوي الذين يعلمون والذين لا يعلمون
[Az-Zumar 39:9]
You are now before you, it is clear to you that this verse is clear and evident
Are those who know equal to those who do not know? لا يستوي الذين يعلمون والذين لا يعلمون
[Az-Zumar 39:9]
Here you are in one session, you change your opinion when you judge with your intellect, you say it is permissible, but when you judge with your knowledge and your Shari'ah, you say it is not permissible. This is an example regarding the noble Prophet's birthday. You see in your intellect that there is nothing wrong with it, but look with your knowledge, and from all the knowledge we mentioned, that as long as the Messenger (peace be upon him) did not do it, and the Companions did not do it, and the Salaf did not do it, it is impossible for it to be from the good.

The questioner: Come to the food.

The Shaykh: Come to the food, do you allow us to eat the food?

The Shaykh: Please, whenever we are invited to food, whether lunch or dinner, it occurs to them to ask
Speak about your food, even if it is with the price of your skins. تحدثوا على طعامكم ولو بثمن أسحلتكم
I say this is from the hadiths I want to give you; this has no basis. I mean, you want to arm me with a weapon against myself.

The questioner: Yes, my master.

The Shaykh: You want to arm me with a weapon against myself.

The questioner: No.

The Shaykh: Yes, how not? Only with good is this weapon, with good... You asked me for an authentic hadith as a substitute for this one which has no basis; this is what I am saying.

The questioner: And the one who saw is not like the one who did not see, and the one who saw is not like the one who did not see.

The Shaykh : Yes, exactly.
