Continuation of the speech of Shaykh Muhammad 'Ayd 'Abbasi, the fourth point

Eid Abbasi : And there is a fourth thing, which is that they call for verification of everything attributed to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). We can say that the fourth foundation is precise scientific verification of everything attributed to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and his Companions; so we do not narrate a hadith unless we are certain of it, and we do not build an argument unless we have verified it. We do not say, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said," except with what we are actually certain the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said. So being attentive to what is narrated and transmitted from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and seeking the truth in his hadiths (peace be upon him) is a principle of our principles of which we are proud and to which we call people. We believe that much of the misguidance arose because people neglected this foundation; they began narrating whatever came to them. When the scholars began to focus on the science of stories, the sciences of theology, and other sciences, and left the science of hadith and the science of the Sunnah—this science which is the axis of Islamic sciences—the exegete needs it, the jurist needs it, the scholar of tawhid (the oneness of Allah) needs it, the scholar of biography needs it, the scholar of inheritance needs it, and so on. When people left the verification of these hadiths, and it is known that the Zindiqs, the enemies of Islam, the ignorant, and the deluded had introduced many hadiths from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), despite the severe prohibition of that, and despite his severe warning against narrating everything a person hears, as in his saying (may Allah's prayer and peace be upon him): , such hadiths prohibit a person from narrating anything of which he is not certain that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said it.
So people innovated innovations and fell into misguidance, and the sects varied, multiplied, and branched out. One of the causes of that was their laxity in narrating weak and fabricated hadiths, because they contain corrupt meanings, false beliefs, and matters that demolish Islam from its foundation. So verification of what is narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) and what is transmitted from him is one of the principles to which we call people. And we take pride in the fact that—praise be to Allah, Mighty and Majestic—this blessed call has spread, and our eminent teacher (may Allah preserve him and strengthen him) has a great share in that. One of the effects of this call was that interest in the science of hadith spread among the Muslims, so a great movement began to spread and strengthen day after day in the verification of hadith. So you see in the books: "This hadith was narrated by so-and-so, this hadith was narrated by so-and-so, authentic, good," because of the pursuit that the Salafis (a follower of the Salaf) give to these. And a good effect of its results is that all Islamic knowledge is gradually purified, and what was far from Islam and what was foreign to it is removed. This is a fourth and important principle.
It is sufficient for a person to be a liar that he narrates everything he hears, and whoever narrates from me a hadith that is seen to be a lie, he is one of the liars
