A word from the Shaykh on the ruling on political work before being prepared for it.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : They apply and enforce them in the Islamic lands. So, if any group wants to engage in political work within these methodologies and man-made laws, there is no doubt that the outcome of that matter will be a loss, and the result for the workers will be that they return in defeat, just as their predecessors returned before them. Therefore, I do not support this political work, not because it is necessary, but because it is premature.
Perhaps among the things I remember is that among the vows indicating the validity and the danger of political work before being prepared for it, I recall, if I am not mistaken, that the book or message referred to explicitly stated that Muslims in this time must be lenient in committing some of the things forbidden by the Shari'ah in order to be able to achieve the desired goal of establishing the Islamic society. I remember this; do you remember it with me, or do you correct my memory? Is there anyone who remembers? ... So we ask: how does this align with the Shari'ah, which we mentioned earlier in a verse known to both the common people and the specialists among the scholars, which is the saying of Allah the Exalted:
if you support Allah, He will support you إن تنصروا الله ينصركم
[Muhammad 47:7]
Will Allah's victory for us be by making some of the prohibitions of Allah Mighty and Majestic permissible, or will it be by our mindfulness of Allah Blessed and Exalted is He, so that we deserve victory from Allah? Thus, we can say here and exemplify with the saying of the well-known poet: "Sa'd drove the camels, and Sa'd was wrapped in his cloak *** It is not like this, O Sa'd, that you drive the camels".
The launch into political work and the opening of the door to calling for political work should not be by explicitly stating that it is necessary to commit some of the things forbidden in order to launch economic and social work and the like, even though the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) explicitly stated in some authentic hadiths when he addressed the people saying:
O people, fear Allah Mighty and Majestic and be excellent in your seeking, for what is with Allah is not attained through what is forbidden. Indeed, no soul will die until it completes its provision and its term, so be excellent in your seeking, for what is with Allah is not attained through what is forbidden.
. The message says that it is necessary to look away from some of the things forbidden and commit them so that we become strong materially, otherwise we will be lagging behind the pace of the present age. This is what comes to my mind in answer to such a question.
