Abu Malik Shuqara’s intervention in explaining the harms of songs.

Abu Malik: One must have knowledge of the musical melodies of songs... the modern ones currently in vogue. These melodies have been transferred to these songs from those songs. Therefore, whoever sings must have the musical ear that transfers that melody from that song to the new Islamic song. And all songs are composed based on those melodies that were not revealed...
