The Weakening of Al-Suqaf's Hadith of the Girl

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : It is a very strange stubbornness; he weakens authentic hadiths and authenticates anomalous and denounced hadiths without adhering to any rule. Take, for example, the hadith of the girl
Where is Allah ? She replied: In the heaven. أين الله ؟ قالت: في السماء
Sunan Abi Dawud 3282Sahih (Al-Albani)
He says, "I am certain that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not say this." They say in our region in Syria: "A spear, even if it flies." On this basis, or here they say, I think, "Give him a camel."
Al-Halabi : A spear, even if it flies.

The Shaykh : A spear, even if it flies, or give him a camel. This is a story that is narrated and attributed to Abu Mu'awiyah, but it is false without a doubt. So these are strange stubbornnesses. Now we need to respond to this, but we cannot respond to everything. We cannot do what we cannot do, and Allah does not burden a soul beyond what it can bear.
Abu Layla : Excuse me, my Shaykh, once I attended a gathering with you here, and his speech is recorded on my phone. He asked you for a meeting, and I said, "I will not meet you until you become moderate and I see you on the straight path, and then we will meet with you." He said to you, "The Sufis are now against me, and I am against them." He said, "What is the evidence?"The Shaykh : He said, "What is the evidence for that?" He said, "They will say such and such, and I will bring them now." They said, "Write, and then we will meet." Meaning, write a letter against them, and then we will meet. Later, he came and said, "Peace be upon him who follows the guidance," or I do not remember, and then he hung up the phone in his face.
Another questioner asked: And why did he say that word?
Abu Layla : Yes, he hung up the phone and did not complete the conversation with him until it ended.

The Shaykh : Allah is sufficient for me, and He is the best Disposer of affairs. I give the turn to someone else.
Al-Halabi : Our Shaykh, regarding responses, and what are responses? One cannot follow up on everything. People are between those who praise and those who blame. Now, in the introduction of *al-Targhib wa al-Tarhib*, from the poetry of al-Mundhiri, what does he say? He says: "Do good for yourself and do not care *** about the talk of people. And he said:
The creation cannot be hoped to have their hearts united *** There must be one who praises you and one who blames you."

The Shaykh : By Allah, this is the reality.
Al-Halabi : ... It is appropriate for the time.
