Explanation of the categories of people who are not given from the zakah.

An example of this is the Banu Hashim. The Banu Hashim are not permitted to receive zakah, even if they are poor, due to the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) Therefore, if we find a person from the Banu Hashim and it is established that he is a Hashimi, he is to be prevented from being given it in accordance with a legal proof.
