The meaning of his saying: "Then he prayed it between Maghrib and 'Isha'."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :
Then he prayed it between Maghrib and 'Isha' ثم صلاها بين المغرب والعشاء
That is, between the time of Maghrib and the time of 'Isha'.
So that indicates, and this hadith indicates, that the middle prayer is the 'Asr prayer, and that it is not permissible to delay it until after the sun has set. The hadith also indicates that it is permissible to delay the prayer from its time in the case of fighting, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
They have diverted us from (offering) the middle prayer. i. e. the 'Asr prayer شغلونا عن الصلاة الوسطى صلاة العصر حتى غابت الشمس
Sahih Muslim 628
. - Pay attention -
So is this ruling still in effect? Or has it been abrogated?
