The questioner : Another hadith from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)
Indeed, the People of the House chose for us the Hereafter over this world, and indeed, the People of my House will be subjected to expulsion and dispersal in the lands after me, until black banners are raised from the East. They will ask for the truth but it will not be given to them, then they will ask for it again but it will not be given to them. They will fight and be victorious. Whoever among you or among your descendants encounters this, let him come to the Imam of the People of my House, even if he has to crawl on the snow. For these are banners of guidance that they will deliver to a man from the People of my House whose name will correspond to my name and whose father’s name will correspond to my father’s name. He will be given dominion over the earth, and he will fill it with justice and equity, just as it was filled with injustice and oppression.
was narrated by the Imam, the Hafiz, Abu 'Abd Allah al-Hakim in his *Mustadrak*.

The Shaykh : This hadith is a narration related to the first hadith, so in its entirety and completeness, it is not authentic. However, there is also a phrase in it that is authentic from the Messenger (peace be upon him) in the wording:
The world will not end لا تنقضي الدنيا
.

The questioner : Peace be upon you.

The Shaykh : And upon you be peace, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.

The questioner : How are you, my Shaykh? You can ask from where you are, or you can ask from where I am, and the latter is more pleasing to us.

The Shaykh : May Allah bless you. We have our friend Khalid with us, and we have other guests. What do you think about joining us? Perhaps the saying of our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) will be true for you and for us:
for they are a people the seat-fellows of whom are in no way unfortunate هم القوم لا يشقى جليسنا
Sahih Muslim 2689
.

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh : Come on, welcome.

The questioner : May Allah reward you.

The Shaykh : May Allah bless you. Shall we come and take you?

The questioner : I will come, if Allah wills.

The Shaykh : If the recorder were not busy recording, we would have had him serve you on my behalf.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good. Allah is the One to be sought for help. I will come, if Allah wills. May Allah bless you. May Allah bless you all, my Shaykh.

The Shaykh
The world will not end, in the wording: The world will not pass away until Allah sends a man whose name will correspond to my name and whose father’s name will correspond to my father’s name. He will fill the earth with justice and equity, just as it was filled with injustice and oppression. لا تنقضي الدنيا بلفظ لا تذهب الدنيا حتى يبعث الله رجلا يوافق اسمه اسمي واسم أبيه اسم أبي يملأ الأرض قسطا وعدلا كما ملئت جورا وظلما
Clear?

The questioner : May Allah reward you.

The Shaykh : This is correct.
