The Shaykh : In it, a fourth matter is mentioned that was not stated in this verse, which is if he is oppressive, then we do not debate him, by the saying of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He:
And do not argue with the People of the Scripture except in a way that is best وَلا تُجَادِلُوا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ إِلَّا بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ
[Al-'Ankabut 29:46]

except for those of them who commit wrong إِلَّا الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مِنْهُمْ
[Al-Baqarah 2:150]
We do not debate these people with what is best, but we confront them with the sword because they are defiant. Thus, the categories are four: three are mentioned in one verse, and the fourth in another verse.
We ask Allah the Exalted to make us and you among the callers to the truth and its supporters, and to grant us from Him mercy. Indeed, He is the Bestower.
And I call upon my brothers who call to Allah to seek the easiest and simplest way. For this reason, the Messenger used to send people to call to the truth and say:
Make things easy and do not make them difficult, and give glad tidings and do not drive people away. For you have been sent as those who make things easy, not as those who make them difficult. يسروا ولا تعسروا وبشروا ولا تنفروا فإنما بعثتم ميسرين ولم تبعثوا معسرين
. So whatever makes people inclined to the truth, follow it, for you are upon good. Now, to the questions.
