Explanation of the Book of Prayer and Its Times-07a

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Musaddad narrated to us, saying: Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us from al-A'mash from Abu Salih from Abu Hurayrah from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), that he said:
The prayer offered in congregation is twenty five times more superior (in reward) to the prayer offered alone in one's house or in a business center
Sahih al-Bukhari 477
.

The Shaykh : Repeat.
The reader:
The prayer offered in congregation is twenty five times more superior (in reward) to the prayer offered alone in one's house or in a business center
Sahih al-Bukhari 477
.

The Shaykh :
in his house or in the marketplace
Sunan Ibn Majah 786Sahih (Darussalam)
Complete it.
The reader:
The prayer offered in congregation is twenty five times more superior (in reward) to the prayer offered alone in one's house or in a business center, because if one performs ablution and does it perfectly, and then proceeds to the mosque with the sole intention of praying, then for each step which he takes towards the mosque, Allah upgrades him a degree in reward and (forgives) crosses out one sin till he enters the mosque. When he enters the mosque he is considered in prayer as long as he is waiting for the prayer and the angels keep on asking for Allah's forgiveness for him and they keep on saying: 'O Allah! Be Merciful to him, O Allah! Forgive him, as long as he keeps on sitting at his praying place and does not pass wind.
Sahih al-Bukhari 477
.

The Shaykh : I do not have it.
so long as he does not commit Hadath
Sunan Ibn Majah 799Sahih (Darussalam)
In one copy it is written:
As long as he does not speak, he speaks in it
"The chapter on prayer in the mosque of the marketplace." It seems this is a mosque distinct from the general mosques built in neighborhoods and houses. Perhaps it is like the mosques referred to by al-Tahir just now: "And Ibn 'Unayn prayed in a mosque in a house where they closed the door on them". It seems to be a prayer place in this house where the door is closed and they pray in it. This is based on the opinion of those who say that the obligation of congregational prayer is not specifically in the mosque, and that if people pray in congregation in their houses, that suffices. However, the correct view is that it is necessary to establish the congregation in the mosques, and the minimum that can be said about it is that it is a collective obligation (fard kifayah). As for saying to people, "Build mosques, and you are at your option: if you wish, pray in them, and if you wish, pray in your homes in congregation," that is far-fetched. Then he mentioned the hadith of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), and the point of it is his saying:
The prayer offered in congregation is twenty five times more superior (in reward) to the prayer offered alone in one's house or in a business center
Sahih al-Bukhari 477
