The meaning of the poet's statement: "By Allah, the Imams did not say everything *** that was said, without any concealment, but because the minds of the people of their time *** were too narrow to carry the subtleties"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"By Allah, the Imams did not say everything *** that was said, without any concealment"
He spoke the truth, may Allah have mercy on him, because the Imams did not say everything that the Messenger said, because many people conceal what the Messenger said. How I wish they would follow his command if they knew most of what the Messenger said. As for knowing everything the Messenger said, that is a distant thing. For this reason, he said:
"By Allah, the Imams did not say everything *** that was said, without any concealment"
"But because the minds of the people of their time *** were too narrow to carry the subtleties of faith"
It is true. The Imams were confronted with innovators who denied the divine attributes and likened Allah to creation, possessing every defect. Yes, so they would inform the people of what they knew and what agreed with their minds. For this reason, he said:
"But because the minds of the people of their time *** were too narrow to carry the subtleties of faith"
"And their insights became like a bat that came *** to the light of day and stopped flying"
Do you know the bat?
The student: Yes.

The Shaykh : Yes.
The student: ...

The Shaykh : It is a bird that flies
The student: ...

The Shaykh : without hair. We have not seen this bird; it does not fly except at night.
The student: There is nothing on its skin.

The Shaykh : Yes, there is nothing on it, but the important thing is that its flight does not occur except at night. So when day comes, it stops. For this reason, he said:
"Until when the darkness of night came *** you saw it moving about everywhere"
"And so it is with your minds, if you were to feel ***"
"And so it is with your minds, if you were to feel *** O people, like insects and mice"
Ha, ha.
The student: ...

The Shaykh : It is permissible. Both are permissible.
"That they are accustomed to the darkness and have *** no hands for the sources of light at all"
Insects do not come out except at night, generally. They come out at night because the day frightens them and they fear it, so they hide in their burrows. When night comes, they spread out. Mice do not come out while they hear a sound in the place. As long as they hear a sound, they do not come out. And if they are forced to come out, they come out quickly. But when people are absent from the kitchen, yes, you find them seeking bread and cake and everything, because there is no one around them. So they do not live except in seclusion. Yes.
"That they are accustomed to the darkness and have *** no hands for the sources of light at all"
