The Shaykh : He said: "And it is that which led Ibn Sina and those who followed him*** They attributed his statement to disbelief"
Ibn Sina and those who followed him who attributed his statement to disbelief
"And they interpreted the creation of the highest heavens*** And their occurrence by the reality of possibility"
Yes, Ibn Sina and his followers among the philosophers said that there is no Creator and no created thing, and that the creation of the heavens means the possibility of their occurrence; this is the meaning of their creation. They said that they came into existence, and their existence is proof of possibility, but that there is a Creator is not the case. They interpreted creation to mean the possibility of occurrence.
"And they interpreted the knowledge of the Divine and His speech*** And His attributes with negation and invalidity"
They said that Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) does not have an attribute that is existential, but rather all His attributes are negative. They even said that it is not correct to say that Allah exists. This is incorrect because it is not permissible to affirm an existential attribute for Allah; rather, all His attributes are negative. And with this, they also say that it is an imagination with no reality. But the messengers brought this imagination in order for people to be upright in what was intended for them. Otherwise, there is no Lord, no attributes of the Lord, no Paradise, no Hellfire, and no Last Day. Rather, the messengers depicted this in a narrative manner in order for people to be upright in what the messengers demanded of them.
"And they interpreted the resurrection which the*** Messengers of the Divine brought for these bodies
by its separation from the elements that have been combined in it *** until it returns to being simple in its components

The resurrection, which is the bringing out of people from their graves to the Lord of the Worlds, reviving them after death. They said that this is not what is meant by resurrection. What is meant by resurrection is the resurrection of the soul from the world of matter to the world of the soul, meaning that it exits from the elements of matter, from the body, to the world of spirits. The truth is that this is a distortion beyond which there is no distortion, because if we say that this is the resurrection, its reality is that this is death: the soul separating from the body, separating from the material element to the unseen element of spirits. This is not resurrection; its reality is that it is death. But through their distortion, they claimed that this is the resurrection and denied that there could be a resurrection of the bodies. They said that the bodies perish and go away and cannot be resurrected again.
