The Shaykh :“And the heart does not find rest except through worship *** so it calls him to the worlds”
The heart must have an object of worship; the heart must have an object of worship. So who does it worship? Either it worships Allah, or it worships other than Allah. For this reason, he said:
“*** so it calls him to the worlds”
This means that the heart of one who denies the divine attributes may reach a state where it worships the worlds, as is the doctrine of the people of the Unity of Existence who say that the entire universe is Allah.
