The Meaning of the Chapter and the Intensity of Holding Fast to the Religion When Times Are Corrupt

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
The author said: "A chapter on what Allah the Exalted has prepared of excellence for those who hold fast to His Book and the Sunnah of His Messenger" When? "When times are corrupt" Because if the time is good and the people are upright in it, it is easy for a person to be upright, is it not? But if the time is corrupt and the people are not upright in it, then uprightness becomes difficult, because if a person is upright in such a time, he finds himself a stranger among the people, and blessed are the strangers. This is a clear matter. Look at a righteous man in a house where his family is not righteous; what does this righteous son find? He finds hardship, difficulty, and suffering. But look at a righteous man in a house of righteous people; righteousness is easy for him, is it not? In fact, he would find it strange to become corrupt, because he is among righteous people. So, if a person is upright when times are corrupt, his reward with Allah is greater, as the author (may Allah have mercy on him) will explain. Yes.
