(Explanation of the virtue of the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) Ummah, and that it is like rain, where it is not known whether its good is in its beginning or its end) This, and a confirmation of it also came*** in al-Tirmidhi

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :" This, and a confirmation of it also came *** in al-Tirmidhi for one who has two eyes
likening his Ummah to rain, the beginning *** of it and its end, so they are confused "

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) likened his Ummah to rain, where it is not known which is its beginning and which is its end, meaning: that they are similar, the beginning of the Ummah and its end, because the beginning of the Ummah has the precedence and virtue of transmitting the Shari'ah, and the end of the Ummah has its protection when times become corrupt, so each of them has taken a share of protecting this religion with the Shari'ah, therefore it is not known which is their beginning and which is their end.
" likening his Ummah to rain, the beginning *** of it and its end, so they are confused
Therefore, he does not know which of them it is *** it has been singled out for preference and superiority "
