With the hand, and as for the tongue, if you are unable *** then by turning to Him and supplicating with tenderness (Explanation that the support of the religion is by the hand, the tongue, and the heart)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"With the hand, and as for the tongue, if you are unable *** then by turning to Him and supplicating with tenderness"
This means you support it with your hand, or with your tongue, or with supplication. These three levels are what the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned in:
He who amongst you sees something abominable should modify it with the help of his hand; and if he has not strength enough to do it, then he should do it with his tongue, and if he has not strength enough to do it, (even) then he should (abhor it) from his heart من رأى منكم مُنكرا فليغيره بيده فإن لم يستطع فبلسانه فإن لم يستطع فبقلبه
Sahih Muslim 49a
Denying with the heart is not sufficient for a person to merely dislike the evil; rather, he must also leave the people of evil. So if he sits with them while saying, "I deny it with my heart," he is a liar, due to the saying of Allah the Exalted:
And it has already come down to you in the Book that when you hear the verses of Allah [recited], they are denied [by them] and ridiculed; so do not sit with them until they enter into another conversation. Indeed, you would then be like them وقد نزل عليكم في الكتاب أن إذا سمعتم آيات الله يكفر بها ويستهزأ بها فلا تقعدوا معهم حتى يخوضوا في حديث غيره إنكم إذن مثلهم
[An-Nisa 4:140]
So you must stand up. However, if you are forced to remain and threatened if you leave, then a person is excused by Allah in this, because he is compelled to do this thing.
"What comes after this, and by Allah, for faith is a *** mustard seed, O supporter of faith
"What comes after this"
means denying with the heart and turning to Allah with supplication; nothing comes after that. Then he said:
"By the life of Your face, the best of what is asked for, *** and by the light of Your face, O One of great status"
To the end of it. The author (may Allah have mercy on him) began to seek nearness to Allah (Mighty and Majestic) with what he mentioned for the supplication that you will hear.
He said: "By the life of Your face" The life of the face of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is permissible to seek nearness to Him through, because it is among His attributes, and seeking nearness to Allah through His attributes is permissible. In the authentic hadith:
O God, by Thy knowledge of the unseen and Thy power to create, grant me life as long as Thou knowest life to be best for me, and take me when Thou knowest death to be best for me اللهم بعلمك الغيب وقدرتك على الخلق أحييني إذا علمت الحياة خيرا لي وتوفني إذا علمت الوفاة خيراً لي
Mishkat al-Masabih 2497
