Rules on the Evidence for the Names and Attributes: The First Rule: The evidence by which the names of Allah the Exalted and His attributes are established are: the Book of Allah the Exalted

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"Rules on the Evidence for the Names and Attributes"
This is among the most important of these rules:
"The First Rule: The evidence by which the names of Allah the Exalted and His attributes are established are: the Book of Allah the Exalted, and the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). Therefore, the names of Allah and His attributes are not established by anything other than these". Pay attention: it is not possible to establish a name or an attribute for Allah except from the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). And you have known that the attributes are broader than the names.
