Is it permissible to say "Ameen" when completing Surat al-Fatihah in prayer?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : When I recite Surat al-Fatihah in prayer, I say "Ameen" at the end. Is this permissible?

The Shaykh : Yes, it is prescribed for a person, when he completes the recitation of al-Fatihah in prayer, to say: "Ameen." This is because its end is a supplication
(6) Guide us to the straight path - (7) The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray.
[Al-Fatihah 1:6-7]
, and supplication should be concluded with "Ameen," because "Ameen" means, "O Allah, accept it."
I also remind my listening brothers that al-Fatihah is the Mother of the Qur'an and the Seven Repeated Verses, and it is that which must be recited in prayer; there is no prayer for one who does not recite it. This is due to the great meanings it contains. In the authentic hadith, Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: Allah the Exalted said: "I have divided the prayer between Me and My servant into two halves. When he says, 'All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds,' Allah says, 'My servant has praised Me.' When he says, 'The Most Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy,' He says, 'My servant has extolled Me.' When he says, 'Master of the Day of Judgment,' He says, 'My servant has glorified Me.' When he says, 'You alone we worship and You alone we ask for help,' He says, 'This is between Me and My servant, and for My servant is what he has asked.' When he says, 'Guide us to the straight path, the path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have earned Your anger or of those who are astray,' He says, 'This is for My servant, and for My servant is what he has asked.'" A person should keep this great meaning in mind while reciting al-Fatihah in prayer, for this is one of the causes of the presence of the heart in prayer.

The questioner : Praise be to Allah.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : You say.
