The reciter: Amr ibn 'Abbas narrated to us, 'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, Sufyan narrated from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Abbas, who said: I heard Ibn 'Abbas say:
I went out with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on the day of 'Id al-Fitr or 'Id al-Adha. He prayed, then delivered the sermon, then went to the women and admonished them, reminded them, and ordered them to give charity. خرجت مع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يوم فطر أو أضحى فصلى ثم خطب ثم أتى النساء فوعظهن وذكرهن وأمرهن بالصدقة
