Discussion of the prostration for forgetfulness and its three causes: addition, omission, and doubt

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Voluntary prayer in the ritual prayer
I would like to turn to the discussion of the prostration for forgetfulness. The prostration for forgetfulness is one in which many people make mistakes; I do not mean only the common people, but both the common people and the specialists, to the point that some of the imams of the mosques do not understand the rulings of this chapter, the chapter of the prostration for forgetfulness.
The cause of the prostration for forgetfulness is forgetfulness. For this reason, we added it to the word "forgetfulness" and said "prostration for forgetfulness," meaning the prostration that is obligatory or prescribed because of forgetfulness.
Now, the causes of the prostration for forgetfulness are three: addition, omission, and doubt. Memorize them: addition, omission, and doubt. And the addition is either verbal or physical.
If the verbal addition is of a kind that invalidates the prayer, such as the closing salam, for example, then if a person says the salam before completing his prayer, he must complete it and then perform the prostration for forgetfulness.
So if a person says the salam... this is a matter we will leave aside; we will take it up matter by matter. It is possible to divide it up, but this confuses you a little.
