Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : He says: If a man is in tawaf around the Old House in the second or third lap or after that, and three or four drops of blood come out of his nose, is it possible for him to complete the tawaf, or must he stop and renew his wudu? Please inform us. May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : He can complete the tawaf if two, three, four, or more drops come out of his nose. This is because what comes out from other than the two private parts does not invalidate the wudu, no matter how much it is. The blood coming out of the nose, which is a nosebleed, does not invalidate the wudu, even if it is much. The blood coming out of a wound from a knife, a glass, or a stone does not invalidate the wudu, even if it is much. Cupping does not invalidate the wudu, even if the blood is much. Vomiting does not invalidate the wudu. Everything that comes out from other than the two private parts is not an invalidator of the wudu, according to the stronger opinion. This is because there is no evidence that it is an invalidator. It is known that the one who performs wudu has completed his purity by virtue of the evidence of the Shari'ah, so this purity cannot be invalidated except by a piece of evidence from the Shari'ah. And it has not been found in the Book or in the Sunnah that what comes out from other than the two private parts is an invalidator of the wudu. Similarly, if this happens to him during prayer, meaning if a person is praying and his nose bleeds, he continues in his prayer if he is able to complete it. If he is not able to complete it because of the abundance of the blood and his inability to maintain khushu', let him exit from it. Then, when the blood stops, he returns and prays. Yes.

The questioner : May Allah bless you...

The Shaykh : And I say, "he returns and prays," meaning he starts the prayer anew.

The questioner : Yes. May Allah bless you.
