The reciter: Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, Waki‘ narrated to us, Hisham al-Dustawaqi narrated to us from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir from Abu Salmah from Ma‘qib, who said:
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned sweeping in the mosque, meaning the pebbles. He said: If you must do it, then only once. ذكر النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم المسح في المسجد يعني الحصى قال : إن كنت لا بد فاعلا فواحدة
