What is the stronger position regarding the permissibility of transmitting a hadith by meaning, since we know that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not say all these words?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reader: And it was narrated to us by Ibn Abi 'Umar, who narrated to us from 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn 'Abd al-Samad from Mansur with the chain of these narrators, and he said:
So let him seek out the truth فليتحر الصواب
.

The Shaykh : All these wordings are close in meaning, and their meaning is one: that one should act according to his predominant conviction. And from this variation in wording, we take the following: What is the stronger position regarding the permissibility of transmitting a hadith by meaning, since we know that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not say all these words, but rather he said one statement, and the narrators each conveyed it according to what was in their mind regarding the wording.
It also contains the benefit that it is permissible to act upon predominant conviction in matters of worship, based on his saying:
So let him seek out the truth فليتحر الصواب
, or his saying:
let him estimate what he thinks is most likely to be correct فليتحر الذي يُرى أنه الصواب
